Lyn Belisle developed the simple AB3 system of composition two years ago and has used it to teach encaustic collage and composition in many of her popular workshops. It is not just for collagists – these simple principles can be applied to painting, fiber art, photography, and even three-dimensional work. This workshop will give you a cutting edge of confidence in your creative work. And it’s fun and easy to learn and to work with.
Learn Composition with Curated Images
The beauty of The Composed Collage image collections is that you can mix and match the exquisite graphics with any of your own mixed-media materials and preferences. I have suggested a list for you in the Resource section but use what you have and use what you love. I would recommend certain things like glue sticks rather than gel medium to avoid bumps and wrinkles, but the paper that you print your Composed Collage images on is sturdy enough for almost any medium - graphite, oil pastels, gel pens.
